Promotional Code Rules
Promotional codes are free, revocable, non-transferable developer promotions with no cash value. They are not purchased content, payment instruments, gift cards, or an alternate method to acquire an App Store product.
A campaign may limit dates, uses, eligible accounts, rewards, or availability. A code received before Level 2 may remain pending on the authenticated account until eligibility is reached. The server records redemption and the corresponding reward atomically; repeated submission cannot grant the reward twice.
Do not sell, trade, publish, guess, automate, or misuse codes. We may reject or revoke unused codes and enforce rate limits or account restrictions for abuse. A completed valid grant remains governed by these Virtual Currency terms.
No Cash Value
Virtual currency, rewards, unlocks, and cosmetics are licensed digital items. They are not money, property, securities, stored value, or deposits. They cannot be sold, traded, transferred, redeemed for cash, or used outside Port 443 / Containment.
Pricing and Taxes
Apple displays final App Store prices and handles applicable taxes, billing, receipts, and payment methods.
Refunds and Revocations
Refunds are handled by Apple. When Apple reports a refund or revocation, related entitlements, remaining currency, or ledger balances may be adjusted as described in Refunds and Purchase Help.
